Danube Bend Half Marathon guide
Nagymaros DKF.jpg
The competition center is located on Fő tér, barely 200 m from Nagymaros-Visegrád railway station! Registration and start number collection will take place in the Workshop, the women's changing room is in the community center, and the men's changing room and cloakroom are located in the primary school. Everything is only 50-100 m away from each other, so you don't have to travel a large area if you want to use everything. There are showers in the changing rooms (but only in limited numbers).

Wardrobe:
The cloakroom is free, with enthusiastic, kind and reliable people, but of course we cannot guarantee the items delivered. For faster service, please put it in a bag, backpack, etc. hand in your clothes, not separate items of clothing.
Toilet: Important, as everyone needs one. On the side of the Studio, I found 4 women's and 4 men's toilets, and the same number in the women's and men's changing rooms. In addition, we can place several mobile toilets down on the Danube bank, close to the start-finish area. (see map)

Registration and start number collection
September 19th between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM in the Art Gallery.
On September  20 between 7:00 and 9:00 in the Studio.
If you live nearby or are arriving the day before the race, we ask that you pick up your bib on Saturday. You do not need the confirmation email or invoice to pick up your start number (if they were on the start list), but you do need a photo ID as everyone can only collect their own start number!
from Friday, September 18, the final start list with start numbers will be available on the website.

Program
As stated on the website, the start times are as follows:
21 km – at 9:00
12 km – at 9:20
5km – at 9:30am
400m – at 9:35am

You can enter the start zone in 3 places, line up depending on the planned running pace, so that jostling after the start can be avoided.
The start number must be worn on the front, clearly visible. If you cover it, the timing will not work properly, as the chip is attached to the back of the start number. Place the magnetic number holder in the four corners of the number, not near the chip in the middle.
After the start, all you have to do is run. You can't get lost.

Travel - arrival - parking
Train:
Anyone coming from Pest (Pest-Vác route) is definitely recommended to come by train. The train takes 40 minutes to Nagymaros from the Nyugati railway station. You can walk 200 meters from Nagymaros-Visegrád station to the competition center. That way, you won't be stuck in traffic, you won't have to look for a parking space, there will be a cloakroom, so you don't need to be able to leave your things with the attendants or in the car.
According to the schedule, you can depart from Nyugati at 6:07, 7:07 and 7:15, trains arrive between 6:48 and 8:13Nagymaros-Visegradto station. We recommend that you arrive here by the 7:48 train at the latest, so you can still pick up your starting number comfortably, and there will be time to get dressed and participate in the warm-up tournament.
Car:
If you definitely want to come by car, please note that the "shortest" route from Pest, according to the GPS, goes through Visegrád. Those who choose this route, take into account that there is the KOMP, which you have to take to cross the Danube. The ferry departs from Visegrád every hour at 45,so you have to come over at 7:45. If you choose this route, it is worth leaving the car in Visegrad, there are 2 free parking lots  (marked on the map with numbers 5 and 6)  Without a car_cc781905-5cde-3194- bb3b-136bad5cf58d_the ferry is cheaper and stops 50 m from the start-finish area in Nagymaros.

Pest, North Mo:if you come on the M2, you have to exit the roundabout at Vác towards Szob, from where you can take highway 12 to Nagymaros.Parking is not allowed in the competition center (1).There is free parking in front of the settlement on the sports field (2), from there next to the Danube approx. They reached the competition center after a 15-minute walk. If you arrive on time, park there! Within Nagymaros, there are smaller paid parking lots next to the train station. In addition, you can also leave cars on the smaller streets ( 3 + 4 ), but since the streets are narrow, with many entrances and exits,be very careful to only park in an orderly manner, do not obstruct anyone's entry and exit! It is not legal to park next to highway 12!

Győr, West Mo: From the west, it is possible to come by car through Slovakia, on the route Esztergom-Párkány-Letkés-Szob-Nagymaros. If you choose this route, when you arrive in Nagymaros, turn right (4) into one of the small streets and leave the car there. From there, you can walk to the Danube bank and enter the competition center on the running track. The first, farthest street (Selmecbánya street) is only 1 km from the start-finish gate. Parking is free on the streets, but make sure that even local residents can get in and out.
